Wonderful smaller post office with old school charm and reliable counter service.The Pacific Grove post office is located on the north side of Lighthouse just beyond the section crowded with restaurants and shopping.
There is typically parking around the side street. There are drop boxes for outgoing mail on both sides of Lighthouse.I’ve always found the shipping boxes and supplies I need – even the unusual sizes many post offices don’t have.
Any line moves quickly – frequently one front counter staff member will call back for another one or two to come up front to help if the line gets long.I’ve had the staff make important address adjustments to priority or overnight packages ensuring they get to the right place on time.One of the better post offices I’ve used.
