When the item is to large for your mailbox you’ll find it here.
The lobby hours are open until 6 PM, so it’s tough to make it here in time. There are rows of post office boxes, but I see no high-tech self help devices.
I have the hours in my pictures, but I expect them to vary throughout the year.
I received a message saying my package was unable to be delivered on Dec. 7th @ 8:43 am. I called in the day I received the message and using their god awful automation call section. I get it step up for me to pick it up today Dec. 8th.
However after waiting in line and the clerk being confused as to what I was coming to get, I just sighed. After being told it can’t be found at the moment, but I should try to come back later in the day and see if its in. I asked can’t I just get contacted to come get it…..which seem to be a silent, Not Really Moment.
So I wonder what do I need to do to get my package seeing amazon says its been delivered. but the post office doesn’t know where it went since yesterday delivery attempt. Now don’t get me wrong, people are people and make mistakes. That’s why I didn’t yell or take it out on someone underserving of those actions. But again where do I go from here.
This is the best post office in town. It has the best people.
Rainne is the best. I’m going write my congressman, and tell him to nominate her for Postmaster General. And, she deserves to occupy the seat once held by Benjamin Franklin.
It was Christmas time. There was a very long line. She loaned me her masking tape and didn’t make me go to the back of the line, despite the fact I had to remove 15-ft of priority mail tape from my media mail.
Fairview’s Post Office is staffed by real people, with common sense.
