I never knew this USPS even existed and I lived in Bakersfield my whole life. Well I only came to this location because it was down the street from my home and I knew they closed at 5pm. So I went to this location since it’s closer and I knew I make it before they closed. Online says they closed at 5pm but apparently this location decides to close thier window at 4:30pm and leave their lobby open at 5pm. So I’m asking can I get some help (not knowing the window was closed already) and they plan just give me attitude because I came in and ask for assistance because they’re “closed”. Saying “ We are closed! Come back tomorrow, we close our window at 4:30pm and keep the door open just for the lobby till 5pm! Read the signs!” They just need to be closed permanently since they can’t operate like every other USPS.

Since it’s a smaller usps, it doesn’t have all the advanced features as the others but it functions for what I need. Also the lady that works there is extremely helpful and nice.

The lady who works there is so courteous and patient, she is knowledgeable and helps you in every way possible! My only complaint is the parking lot please do more on the side lot, I’m pretty sure USPS can afford it, is extremely dangerous for us customers to be dealing with Taft highway traffic!
