United States Postal Service Tucson Phone Tracking and Reviews

Great post office! Very friendly & helpful. During the holidays they remain just as great even with the lines that inevitably occur. They set up systems to streamline service at that time & it really helps! This very positive atmosphere reflects both the individual workers & the management. It feels as if everyone enjoys working there. Really appreciate the work they do, especially given all the efforts of the current Postmaster General to undermine this vital service.

I went in to pick up my package. I have a tracking number and confirmation number. They told me the driver lost my package. Said they’d call me back after the weekend. Waited a week and went back in to follow up after no call. They told me it was returned to sender since I never claimed it.
They said I can track it down and pay 15 dollars to re route it. I called customer service and they said that was not even possible to do. This package was very expensive to send and was being tracked and certified. Very upset that I was told it was lost only for them to send it back out of state. I highly recommend not sending mail here. They clearly are unorganized and incompetent while not caring to correct their mistakes.

I have used this location for many, many years and it is much better than the 2.4 avg it has currently. Staff is almost always very friendly, helpful and efficient. It’s only problem is that it is understaffed which is a decision likely made outside of Tucson, unfortunately. I’ve also noticed wealthier areas in Tucson have more staff, shorter lines.
This location also has an automated postage system (a machine) which is a really nice way to avoid the lines if you just need postage or to weigh something and get postage. Let’s give the USPS a break and make good reviews when you have good experiences, not just the bad. We have to support them if we want the service to continue as the private services are doing all they can to degrade and get rid of it, as we saw in the last administration.
